Privacy policy
This covers what KAIRO collects when you browse kairopeptides.com or place an order, and what happens to it afterward. It is short because the store collects little.
What we collect
When you order: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, a phone number if you give one, and what you bought. Every field there is one we need to fill the order or to reach you about it.
When you browse: your browser sends the usual request data to our server, and the server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp, browser string). Those logs rotate automatically as they fill, so they hold a rolling recent window rather than a permanent history, and they are read only to debug the site and to look at security events.
There is no third-party analytics on this store. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no advertising tag, no session recorder. What we look at is our own WooCommerce order data, which is the same order records described above. That is the whole of it.
What we never see
There is no card processor on this site. Payment happens off the site, by Venmo or Zelle, after the order is placed. We never collect, transmit, or store a card number, a bank account number, or a security code, because none of that ever passes through this store.
What we do see is what your payment app shows the recipient when a payment lands: the sending name, the amount, and the note.
Cookies
Three kinds, all functional:
- Cart and session. WooCommerce sets cookies that remember your cart between page loads. Without them the cart empties on every click.
- Age attestation. After you confirm you are 18 or older, we set a cookie named ageVerified for 30 days so the gate does not reappear on every page.
- Affiliate referral. If you arrive through an affiliate link, our affiliate tool sets cookies recording which affiliate sent you and when that referral window opened, so a commission can be attributed. If the link you arrived on carries a campaign tag, that tag is recorded the same way. Nothing is set on an ordinary visit, and none of it is used for anything but paying the affiliate.
No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set. You can block or clear cookies in your browser; the cart and the age gate will simply stop remembering you.
Who else handles your data
- GoAffPro, affiliate tracking. Loads a script on the store and records referral attribution.
- DigitalOcean, hosting. Runs the server the store and its database sit on.
- Our own store software. WordPress and WooCommerce hold the order records described above, and a mail-logging plugin keeps a copy of outbound order email, including the address it went to, inside the same database.
- FedEx, shipping. Receives your name and delivery address so the package can arrive, and returns tracking events.
- Resend, email delivery. Sends order and account email from orders@kairopeptides.com, and therefore handles your email address and the contents of those messages.
We do not sell customer data. We do not rent it, trade it, or add it to any outside list.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as tax and business records require. Server access logs follow the rolling window described above. Anything we are not required to keep is deleted on request.
Your choices
Write to hello@ovae.ai to ask for a copy of what we hold about you, a correction, or deletion. We answer these requests as promptly as we can, and we will tell you what we are doing about yours rather than leaving it silent.
California residents have rights under the CCPA and CPRA to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it, so there is nothing to opt out of; the remaining rights are exercised at the address above.
Where this applies
KAIRO ships within the United States only, and this policy is written for a US store and US customers. Checkout accepts US shipping addresses, we do not sell into the EU or the UK, and this policy does not claim GDPR or UK GDPR compliance.
The rest of the policies
Terms of sale covers what an order commits you to, shipping covers delivery, and returns and refunds covers what happens when something is wrong.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the store changes. The version posted here is the one in effect.
